Oregon-based artist Egor Shokoladov, originally from Belarus, graduated from the Master of Arts program specializing in Visual Art and Computer Graphics at Yanka Kupala State University in Grodno, Belarus.
Egor’s style and techniques allow him to express his thoughts and impressions through the philosophy of metamodernism. Shokoladov works with vintage printmaking techniques, like etching, and experiments with mixed media.
His works can be read as fairy tales, myths, or stories that are gradually revealed through viewing.
Shokoladov has participated in over 80 solo, group, and juried exhibitions across the United States and internationally. His work has been recognized with several prestigious awards and can be found in museums and private collections across Europe, the United States, and China.
